Hosts are amazing! So kind and welcoming. The rooms are old and basic but comfortable. And the location is great - close to bus stops and centre square.

This is a special place. It's very old and beautifully decorated, and the pool is a cool oasis on a hot day. The host is lovely and I loved mornings in the main room with a coffee and classical guitar music on the stereo. It's luxury in the sense of ambience, authenticity and tranquility. I hope I can go back!

We love this family run authentic Mexican boutique hotel! The hosts Jossy and Juan Carlos really made us feel welcomed. We stayed in the bedroom with a king sized bed which had its own bathroom. Everything was clean and in working order. The common areas are quiet, and pool and sitting areas are lovely. Nice to stay a little ways away from the noise and bustle of el Centro. Slept like a baby. Setting expectations: this is not a Hilton or hotel experience, but a warm and authentic stay with the true flavor of Mexico

Great spot! It is a great price for just needing a place to sleep. Juan Carlos was very accommodating and kind. I appreciate his help and recommendations. It is very much a local boutique feel.

We had an awesome time at this charming little hotel (5 rooms). The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us delicious desserts when we came back from our night out! The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has 2 patios, one of them with a pool. Excellent value for money at 40$/night for a room.

Once again I stayed here and I will continue to stay here every time I visit Merida. Really enjoyed my room and how amazing the owners are to help accommodate me and their guests. Beautiful little gem in my favourite city in America. Can not give enough praises for how welcoming the staff are.

We loved this place! Location, Property and Jossy and Juan Carlos are just devine! From the moment we arrived we felt at home, the warmth and passion they share is infectious. The property is brimming with authenticity, from the architecture to the decoration and the plants throughout the courtyard into the almost Grecian style pool area. If you want a great location, authentic building and caring hosts then you can't do better in Merida we ended up staying an extra 3 nights and would've stayed longer if we hadn't got a flight to catch

This place is run by nice people with two lovely cats. The aircon wasn’t working well when we arrived and we were told not to touch any buttons, but they sorted that out for us the next day which we appreciated. Our room was huge with a separate lounge and bedroom. The pool was great and the internal courtyard is a nice area. My only negative is that the place could do with some TLC - shutting the bathroom door sometimes resulted in large areas of paint falling off the ceiling and walls.
